Bachmann BS204 00009752-00 Controller Module

FAQ

Q: Is the BS204 the same as the S204?
A: No. The BS204 is an active backplane that interconnects modules electrically. The S-series adapters are passive and used only for mechanical mounting .

Q: What is the difference between the BS204 and a larger backplane like the BS216?
A: The primary difference is the number of module slots supported. The BS204 provides 4 slots, while larger backplanes like the BS216 accommodate more modules (up to 16) for larger system configurations .

Q: Can the BS204 be used for any M1/M200 module?
A: It is designed to host M1/M200 control system hardware (power supply, CPU, I/O). If your module requires backplane power or bus communication, you need a BS-series backplane .
